Frequently Asked QuestionsAll things “contents” – Testing, Consulting, Advising, Planning (National) (Packout, Cleaning, Post-Testing, Storage, Moveback) or (cleaning services for drop-off’s).
Irvine, California location. Potential same services at restoration
facilities nationwide.
Services are individually designed for each person’s needs. Although we offer the full range of services listed above, we also accept drop off’s to our location for “cleaning only” to save the costs of packing, moving and transporting.
Test sampling is expeditiously mailed to you then forwarded directly to the lab. 2-4 business days after the lab receives them, they email me the results, I review them, forward them to you and have a follow-up call to interpret and discuss next steps. (7-10 days depending on mailing preferences) (all can be expedited using overnight mailing and 1-day lab fees for additional costs).

Testing will give much more insight into this question. I cannot see it any more than you can so a careful study of your situation, previous testing, your health and the nature of the item in which we are talking about all factor into the answer. If you choose not to do specific item testing, my experience goes a long way based on testing you have done in your home and best-case scenario.
In some cases, yes. This may depend on testing and how affected the contents are, as well as your access to the proper clean up tools and the environment you have for cleaning (see our DIY section).
I cannot change the chemicals of the laundry wash as the balance is what makes it effective. In rare cases, an individual may react to freshly laundered items. If this happens, all items washed are FREE of mold and/or mold spores, I recommend you rewash in detergents that your system is accustomed to.
We completely turn the “scent” to the machine off. If there is any scent at all, it should be a fresh scent, but NOT a perfumy type or fabric softener type scent. We try hard to keep all scents out of the machine.
It is not recommended. This is a wet water wash system. If you choose to put “dry clean only” items through the machine, you do so at your own risk. If they do not come out ok, we will not charge for cleaning the item, however we will not replace or reimburse for the item.
Dry clean items are cleaned basically the same way we clean: books, musical instruments, furniture and anything else that cannot be cleaned utilizing an aqueous (water) system. Items are: air washed, hepavacuumed and fogged in a controlled environment.
No. We specialize in “contents only” as well as provide some “home cleanse services”. (fine particle cleaning)
YES! Testing, consulting, advising and planning is available Nationwide and, in most cases, if outside cleaning services are requested, I may be able to find services near you or advise you through the DIY (Do-It-Yourself) process.
YES! I can get you a quote on cleaning your contents, once we narrow it down to what you would be having us clean. Is it large items onsite at your location? Perhaps large items in the transit of a “move.” Laundry is by the pound, small items are by the box, time, materials, etc… Will all the small items that need to come off site be packed or would we be packing? Do you have artwork that you want cleaned or will the paper backing need to be replaced? Will you deliver to us or will we pick up? If you have only a couple of items or a list and can answer the questions above, I will be able to give you an estimate. As you can see, pricing has many factors, so once you and I come up with a game plan, I can typically come up with a “price range” for services. If you are good with the price range, then we start the process and I have a much clearer picture as I am able to weigh and account for actual services requested.
